I’m Amu. I was born in Kashgar and have lived in Shanghai since high school. I studied computer science and worked as an engineer before life gradually took me in a different direction — more time outdoors, more photography, and more days bringing people together around China.
These days, a lot of what I do comes down to figuring out the practical stuff: how to get somewhere, how much can comfortably fit into a day, what’s actually worth your time, and what tends to go wrong.
I like helping people experience China with a little less guesswork and a little more local context.

People are part of the plan.
I founded Eudaimonia in Chongqing and have organised activities with international communities in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou. Different people need different paces, explanations and room to settle in.

I spent ten days with a climbing team as their coordinator, supporting their arrival in Kashgar and practical arrangements at Base Camp. My role was coordination and support; technical climbing belonged to the specialist team.
